Genetic Counseling Foundation
About the Genetic Counseling Foundation (GCF)
The GCF was founded by the National Society of Genetic Counselors in 2005 with the mission to serve as the catalyst for the integration of genomic information and genetic counseling services into healthcare through philanthropic support of education, research, and public policy.
Donations may be made to GCF, or may be designated specifically to the Audrey Heimler Special Projects Fund (AHSPF).
How to be involved
GCF is a volunteer-run foundation which relies of the skills, talents and resources of individuals to support its mission. No contribution of time, energy or money is insignificant! The Foundation greatly appreciates the efforts and commitment of its founders, Board members and volunteers, and the donors who have all helped to advance the mission of the organization.
