NSGC has been approved as an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). The American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) will accept CEUs attained at the AEC for purposes of certification and recertification. Note: If Contact Hours and CEUs were earned for participation in the live event in Los Angeles during October, 2008, the total number of CEUs on record with NSGC for this online activity will reflect only the hours for sessions not reported on the attendee’s CEU self-report form from the 2008 AEC and Short Course.
The Online Access to the 2008 AEC has been approved for up to 29.75 Contact Hours or 2.97 CEUs (Category 1).
The Online Access to the 2008 Short Course has been approved for up to 11.5 Contact Hours and 1.15 CEUs total (Category 1).
If you are interested in claiming CEUs for the Online Access to either the AEC or Short Course, you must purchase the offering containing the CEU fee. Particpants will be required to take and pass a quiz at the conclusion of each session. If you obtain a passing score of 80% or greater, you will be able to print and download a CEU Certificate, awarding the credits associated with the given session.

Registration and Fees
The following options and prices are available to individuals who did not attend the live event in Los Angeles in 2008. To purchase a given offering, click on the title to be taken to the NSGC Online Marketplace.
Once you purchase the activity, you will need to wait up to fifteen minutes for the server to enable access withn your NSGC member record. While you are logged-in to the NSGC website, you will see a listing of all sessions contained in the package you purchased within the left-menu navigation (below your name). Note: you may need to scroll down.
If you attended the live event in Los Angeles in 2008, you are eligible to purchase Online Access at a discounted rate. To do so, please dowload the attendee order form to receive attendee rates. Processing will take approximately 5-7 business days from the time payment is received. Once your order is processed, you will receive an email notifying you that access has been enabled within your NSGC member record. Click here to download the attendee order form.
