Call for Applications for the 2010 AEC Abstract Workgroup

The AEC Abstract Workgroup has 10 positions available for 2010. Becoming a workgroup member is a great way to get involved in NSGC, and we encourage colleagues of all levels of experience to apply! However, applicants must be a Full, New Genetic Counselor or Associate NSGC member and have access to e-mail.

In addition, applicants will ideally have some experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Design and implementation of research
• Preparation of articles for publication in peer reviewed journals
• Editorship of Journals or other publications

Applicants selected to join the Abstract Workgroup will serve a 3-year term and will be required to complete a mandatory computer-based training program.

Candidates will be notified of the workgroup’s decisions during the week of January 18, 2010.
