Annual Education Conferences and Short Courses

Save the date for the 27th NSGC Annual Education Conference (AEC), October 24-28, 2008, and the 2008 Short Course, October 23-24, both taking place at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles, CA. The AEC annually offers a notable slate of presentations on a diverse range of topics, as well as educational breakout sessions that allow for a smaller group dynamic on specific areas of interest. The 2008 Short Course, Taking Heredity to Heart: Cardiovascular Genetics, An Overview, will provide an educational and interactive forum for genetic counselors and other healthcare professionals to learn about complex cardiovascular diseases with specific focus on issues most pertinent to the practice of genetic counseling.
