Public Policy and Advocacy

Public Policy and Advocacy at the National Society of Genetic Counselors works to improve access to quality genetic counseling services and to ensure the genetic counseling profession is a recognized and integral part of health care system. The Public Policy Committee works to educate policymakers about genomics issues and strives to ensure breakthroughs are translated enabling the public to benefit from them.
