The mission of the Ophthalmology and Hearing Loss SIG is to support genetic counselors focused on hearing loss and ocular genetics through educating the public and healthcare providers about our services; active networking with peers by presenting at local, regional, national, and international conferences; hosting webinars on topics within our practice area; and collaborating on research initiatives and publications
