The NSGC Awards Committee will award 2-3 individuals with a scholarship to join NSGC in 2025 as a Full Member or New Genetic Counselor Member.
NSGC connects you with valuable information, educational resources and a community of colleagues to support you in your work as a genetic counselor, regardless of your role, specialty, or practice setting. This includes all-inclusive access to 23 Special Interest Groups (SIGs), access to the business case toolkit, and discounted educational resources through NSGC's Online Education Center. Your active participation in NSGC can introduce you to new colleagues and provide you with opportunities for new and different professional experiences.
To be considered, applicants must have graduated from an accredited genetic counseling training program and meet NSGC’s criteria to belong as a Full Member or New Genetic Counselor Member. The scholarship will cover membership dues from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025.
The application period is now open and will close on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 11:59 pm ET. Recipients will be chosen by the beginning of December 2024.
