Registration

All speakers receive complimentary, full-conference registration. Non-speaking session "helpers" receive access to their session but do not receive complimentary, full conference registration.

Your complimentary registration does not include add-ons, such as a Pre-conference Symposia or conference recordings. Add-ons will be an additional fee for all attendees and speakers. Pre-conference Symposia speakers will receive complimentary access to their session.

CEU fees are included in your complimentary registration. Speakers are not eligible to claim CEUs for their own session(s).

The speaker complimentary full-conference registration is non- transferable. If you have not received the code to unlock your complimentary, full-conference registration, please contact speakers@nsgc.org.

NSGC is required to collect a W9 for each individual receiving payment. Please complete this blank W9 form and return it to speakers@nsgc.org

Slide Template

According to NSGC’s recently updated CEU Standards and Guidelines, presenters in educational sessions may no longer use branded slide decks. Therefore, it is requested that all conference participants use the approved NSGC PowerPoint Template or a non-branded template. This template includes a block of color at the bottom of each content slide. This area is reserverd for closed captioning. Please do not add any of your own content over this block, or your slides will be returned to you for edits.

All speakers are also required to include a conflict of interest disclosure slide at the beginning of their presentation. If a speaker does not have any conflicts, please state, “No conflicts of interest to disclose.”

Download the NSGC 42nd Annual Conference Powerpoint template.

Miscellaneous

Will moderators for sessions get introduced?
No. Moderators will not receive a formal introduction at the start of a session. Moderators will receive moderator scripts containing speaker bios, which can be used to open the session. Moderators are encouraged to introduce themselves.

Do I need to submit quiz questions? What are quiz questions?
Yes. Conference presentations will be recorded, and recordings will be eligible for CEUs after the Annual Conference. As subject matter experts, we ask speakers to aid us in this effort by creating quiz questionsfor your session. These questions should assess how much a viewer has learned. NSGC requests five quiz questions per each one hour of content in a session (1.5 hour session = 8 quiz questions). Session Coordinators should submit quiz questions associated with your session via  this form by September 29, 2023. Please refer to this document for additional guidance on formatting quiz questions.

Are there additional guidelines for speakers?

Yes! Please refer to these Presentation Guidelines developed by the NSGC Education Committee.
