The Journal of Genetic Counseling is the official journal of the National Society of Genetic Counselors. It is widely read both nationally and internationally by practitioners, researchers, instructors, and students.

The Journal of Genetic Counseling is interested in publishing articles that advance the development of knowledge and informs genetic counseling practice and research.
