Last Day for Members to Submit Feedback on NSGC Position Statements!
The Position Statement Committee (PSC) is seeking NSGC member feedback on five (5) existing NSGC position statements that the PSC is considering revising: At-Home Genetic Testing, Disability, Genetic Testing of Minors for Adult-Onset Conditions, Prenatal Testing for Adult-Onset Conditions, and Raw Data. The PSC would like feedback from NSGC members on 1) revisions you would like to see made in these position statements, if any, and 2) whether you would be interested in volunteering as a stakeholder/subject-matter expert on a particular topic.
Please note that the PSC has identified similar themes in Genetic Testing of Minors for Adult-Onset Conditions and Prenatal Testing for Adult-Onset Conditions, as well as At-Home Genetic Testing and Raw Data, and is considering combining two position statements into one for each pairing. If you have ideas about how each pairing can be combined, or whether they should remain separate, please include that feedback as well.
Please provide your feedback on any or all of the position statements listed above by completing this survey by EOD today (Friday, August 18). Thank you in advance for your valuable input
