The NSGC Education Committee is proud to present the first of two installments of the 2023 Community Conversations Series.

Reproductive Justice and the Intersection with the Disability Community

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe the history and current landscape of Reproductive Justice activism, including the relationship between genetic counseling and eugenics
  • Describe the history of the Disability Rights Movement and how it overlaps with the Reproductive Justice movement 
  • Critique terminology that is often used in the RJ space that may not be inclusive 
  • And more!

This session will not be recorded due to the sensitive nature of the conversations that will take place. We thank you for understanding.

This event has been submitted to the National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) for approval of 1.5 Contact Hours. The American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) accepts CEUs approved by NSGC for purposes of recertification. Approval for the requested CEUs and Contact Hours is currently pending.
