Equity & Inclusion Implementation Subcommittee
Formally known as the Cultural Competency subcommittee, the mission of this group is to foster a more inclusive and equitable professional environment for NSGC members and the profession at large. This is done in collaboration with other NSGC committees in the J.E.D.I. space. Currently, charges focus on designing educational experiences such as this year’s Community Conversations series, focused on centering the voices and experiences of minoritized colleagues and patients for NSGC members to learn with and from.
NSGCares
NSGCares was established in 2020 to review requests for support from our members, highlight the good work of the NSGC membership, and manage local community involvement in conjunction with the Annual Conference, all of which can include initiatives having to do with diversity, equity and inclusion.
